The BioMedEng19 Conference dinner will take place on 5th September 2019 in the Queen's Tower Rooms at Imperial College and will be provided by the Imperial Venues' award-winning in-house caterers.
As well as a delicious three-course meal with a selection of wine, soft drinks, and tea & coffee, there will be an after-dinner speech and musical entertainment by 'The Gastric Band', a talented group of singers and musicians from the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial.
Our confirmed after-dinner speaker is John Tyrer, FIMechE, FLIA, Professor of Optical Instrumentation in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at Loughborough University. Professor Tyrer's work specialises in the development of novel laser engineering processes. His talk is entitled "Bras to Bridges - Using Lasers to Reverse Engineer People".
